Michael Jordan is a long term disability lawyer serving all of Ontario with offices in Toronto, London, and Ottawa.
Michael Jordan is a civil litigator who has been winning long term disability claims since 2004. His journey to founding Jordan Honickman Barristers in 2021 was fueled by a genuine desire to better serve his clients.
Formerly a partner at two prestigious litigation boutiques, Michael teamed up with his friend and partner, Asher Honickman, to establish a law firm rooted in expertise that delivers exceptional results. Together with an associate lawyer and two dedicated law clerks, they form a tight-knit team committed to achieving justice. Unlike some of the larger firms you may have seen on TV or heard on the radio, when you retain Michael to be your long term disability lawyer, he personally handles every aspect of your case from start to finish.
Michael's goal is to help individuals who have been unjustly denied long term disability benefits achieve the best possible result, as quickly as possible. He also advocates for clients facing denials in short term disability, critical illness, life insurance, and select personal injury and fatality cases.
Michael is originally from Peterborough. He obtained his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Western Ontario, before moving to Toronto. Given the highly specialized nature of long term disability claims, he represents clients across all of Ontario.
When he is not litigating with insurance companies, Michael is a devoted family man. He is also a former competitive swimmer, runner, and triathlete. After a hiatus from endurance sports, he's resumed running and recently completed a half marathon in 1:36:26. His sights are now set on tackling a full marathon.
